Cirrus Insight, which integrates Salesforce with Gmail and Google Apps, has integrated Altimetrik's Timba Survey with Gmail, enabling Cirrus Insight and Timba Survey customers to access surveys directly from their inboxes.

Timba Surveys allow users to create and distribute surveys to customers from within their Salesforce CRM system. Survey results are automatically logged to Salesforce to provide access to the information alongside contact records inside their inboxes as they're communicating with customers.

"One of the most powerful features of Cirrus Insight is the ability to automatically display contextual information about the person you are speaking with right inside the inbox. That's why we are so excited to be adding support for Timba Survey results. Now Salespeople can immediately see whether the customer has answered a survey and view those results with a single button click right from Gmail. The result is salespeople who are better informed about who they are speaking with and their needs so they can close more deals," said Jason Hubbard, vice president of marketing at Cirrus Insight, in a statement.
