A recent Aberdeen Group study found that CRM investment is on the rise in the insurance industry. The chart below shows some of the most popular areas in which insurance firms are using CRM.
The study also found that while nearly 42 percent of the study group said they would buy CRM from a vendor, about 21 percent would build in-house. The remainder was undecided. The chart below the main deciding factors in the build-or-buy dilemma.
