Voxeo Adds Chief Customer Officer
Anne Bowman joins the firm in a new title that expands Voxeo's customer-centric culture.

Voxeo today announced the appointment of Anne Bowman to its newly created chief customer officer (CCO) position. Bowman has held leadership positions at Voxeo since 2009, and in her new role, will drive the company's commitment to its customer-centric culture and ongoing success. Bowman also joins the CCO Council, the only member-led, peer-advisory network that offers insight and assistance into critical issues facing CCOs.

As the company's CCO, Bowman will build on Voxeo's core customer commitment. Her area of responsibilities includes sales, marketing, professional services, customer experience, culture and human resources. She reports to Jonathan Taylor, CEO of Voxeo, and spearheads Voxeo University, a global training program for the company's developers, partners, and customers.

"I'm committed to working with creative, energetic people with the common goal of building a company focused on customer needs. My involvement with the CCO Council complements this perfectly by having the opportunity to collaborate with an elite group of like-minded individuals across industries."

Taylor said, "Bowman is a powerful asset for Voxeo's customers because a tremendous part of our success is gauged by their loyalty. That's why we're so proud of our Net Promoter Score, which is the highest achieved by any business software or telecommunications company. The addition of a CCO role at Voxeo will further drive our customer commitment."

Prior to joining Voxeo, Bowman formed TeamSeam Consulting, focused on the customer experience for venture-backed companies. She also co-founded the Enterprise Hosting Division at Rackspace Managed Hosting, where she served as vice president and general manager, responsible for growing their Fanatical Support organization from $10 million to $220 million.

According to the CCO Council, there are less than 450 CCOs in the world. The council includes CCOs from diverse industries, however, the technology sector alone accounts for 26.7 percent of all CCO employment.
