In the earnings department... SAP AG reported fourth-quarter and year-end earnings for fiscal 2002, ended Dec. 31. While total revenues for the year 2002 were up 1 percent to EUR7.4 billion, revenues related to mySAP CRM reached approximately EUR205 million, up 5 percent from 2001. CRM--related sales represented 21 percent of total license sales, the company says. Several other companies reported earnings results this week as well. Dendrite International Inc., which provides SFA and call center solutions, saw a 7.4 percent lift in income, totaling $16.7 million. CRM service and solutions vendor eLoyalty Corp. reported a 40 percent drop in revenues for fiscal 2002, ended December 28. Revenue fell from $146.7 million in 2001 to $86.7 million in 2002. AvantGo Inc., the mobile enterprise software producer, released its 2002 results, the last earnings report before it completes its merger with data warehousing company Sybase Inc. For the fiscal year ended December 31, revenues totaled $19.9 million, and net loss was $16.3 million, compared to revenues of $24.0 million and a net loss of $56.2 million in 2001. In other news... Pivotal Corp. announced the general availability of two new financial services offerings that combine Pivotal's three-tier, metadata-driven CRM software with specialized features, services, and best practices for asset management and private banking. The solutions are aimed at allowing financial organizations to deliver a higher a quality of service to clients, enhancing sales collaboration, and increasing share of wallet, the company says. This week ePeople announced it has signed an OEM agreement with Verity Inc. The agreement includes the integration of Verity's K2 Developer's advanced search, classification, and personalization technologies into ePeople Teamwork, a Web-based collaborative support application for companies that sell complex products. Entellium Corp. has released a product called CRM on Tap that enables customers to use Microsoft Excel to log in to entellium's application services to build, view, and manage reports. The product is designed to allow users to gain access directly from within Microsoft Excel, so there is no need to build the reports first in entellium's applications and then export them. Executive changes... CRM ASP UpShot Corp. has named Thomas Troiano as the regional sales manager for the company's Mid-Atlantic region...Appfluent Technology Inc., a provider of business intelligence infrastructure software, has appointed Matthew Doering as vice president of products and technology...RW3 Technologies Inc., a CRM solutions provider for the consumer packaged goods industry, announced that Frank Mainero has joined the company as senior vice president of global sales and marketing...Connextions, a CRM outsourcing company, recently appointed Cliff Ruden to the position of vice president of sales.
