PROS to Offer SAP HANA with Its Big Data Application for Sales
The company expands its partnership with SAP to enable real-time analysis of sales efforts.

PROS, a big data software company, will embed the SAP HANA platform into its big data applications for sales effectiveness.

PROS delivers prescriptive analytics and real-time data science to help customers identify sales opportunities that are most likely to close, offers that are most likely to sell, and prices that are more likely to win. SAP HANA is a real-time database platform that streamlines analytics, planning, and predictive and sentiment assessments to allow business to operate in real time.

"Today's announcement represents a natural extension in our long-term partnership with SAP, continuing our legacy of innovation in providing customers with a rich integration experience," said PROS President and CEO Andres Reiner, in a statement. "We share a common vision of empowering customers to take faster, more informed actions that are expected to drive their growth and overall business performance and intended to help customers outperform in their markets. SAP is a frontrunner in real-time, in-memory analytics, and we are pleased to broaden our collaboration with them as an SAP OEM partner."

PROS is an SAP software solution and technology partner in the SAP PartnerEdge program and a participant in the SAP EcoHub solutions marketplace. As an OEM partner, the planned integration with SAP HANA is expected to offer PROS customers additional flexibility, speed, and data science capabilities for optimizing pricing and sales.

Since 2009, PROS solutions have achieved SAP-certified integration with SAP solutions, including the PROS Pricing Solution Suite.
