Comm100, a provider of enterprise-level customer service and communication solutions, has added a "zero downtime upgrade" feature to Comm100 Live Chat, the company's SaaS-based live chat software.
Comm100 Live Chat can now perform a software upgrade without any interruption to open chat sessions. The company uses dynamic DLL-loading technology to ensure customers' chat sessions are not interrupted during Comm100's service upgrades. This technology allows both the old and new version of Comm100 Live Chat to function at the same time until the upgrade is complete. The upgrade transition is completely seamless and is not visible to the end user.
