SocialChorus Announces Integration with Viralheat for Sentiment Analysis

SocialChorus, the social word-of-mouth marketing platform, announced today that it has added sentiment analysis to their dashboard by integrating with social media management and intelligence company, Viralheat.

"In order to ensure efficiency at the scale our customers demand, it was critical that we automate sentiment analysis across social networks," said Greg Shove, founder and CEO of SocialChorus, in a statement. "We're excited to be working with Viralheat, and be able to offer our platform customers another tangible way to measure the impact of their programs."

The SocialChorus platform, launched in beta in February, currently runs more than 25 large-scale advocate marketing programs for Fortune 500 brands. The platform tracks advocate and consumer social actions, presenting the metrics on a dashboard that monitors activity and FTC compliance. With the integration of the Viralheat's sentiment analysis API, the dashboard now delivers real-time feedback on the mood of advocate content and comments.

Shove further explains, "Our customers want to scale their brand advocacy efforts, so we intend to provide greater efficiency for all aspects of the social advocate program management process. One such area is sentiment analysis, which needs technology when you have thousands of advocates."

"We have worked with the SocialChorus team to integrate sentiment and influencer intelligence into their already popular platform. Viralheat has been working closely with our users to develop useful ways to display influencers across brands, products, industries and more. Brands will benefit from having access to the powerful combination of SocialChorus and Viralheat's capabilities," said Vishal Sankhla, co-founder and chief technology officer at  Viralheat, in the statement.

"We intend to add more API-based integrations to our platform over the next few months. Our customers want their social marketing and management platforms to talk to each other, and we will deliver on that for them," Shove said.
