Bronto Software, provider of a marketing platform for commerce, has released responsive email templates, enabling marketers to create email that is visually appealing, regardless of the device on which it is viewed.
According to Bronto's statistics, 39 percent of email is opened on a mobile device, and that number is steadily rising. "We want to help commerce marketers connect with the mobile consumer," said Joe Colopy, CEO of Bronto, in a statement. "But it's also about ease of use. Time-strapped marketers can create one version of an email and know that it will render correctly on a mobile device. It's less work for them."
Bronto's email templates include built-in responsive code that dynamically adapts the layout and style of the message to a smaller screen. Columns and navigation elements are stacked, images and buttons are resized, and the copy is reformatted.
Bronto provides more than 130 responsive templates, offered in six layouts and a wide range of themes.
Commerce-ready templates for order confirmation and shopping cart abandonment messages have also been enhanced with responsive design. These templates are pre-built with API tags so marketers can insert order and product information into email. They also include built-in sections for adding cross- and up-sell offers.
Bronto's responsive email templates enable commerce marketers to do the following:
- Drive customer loyalty and more revenue with targeted SMS campaigns, including new product alerts, flash sales, or other time-sensitive deals, special offers and coupons, text-to-win contests, and more.
- Enhance customer communications by sending order confirmations, shipping alerts, product availability notices, and other service-based messages via SMS.
- Create interactive list growth (Text-to-Join) campaigns that allow consumers to send a text message to opt-in to an email list.
- Leverage QR codes for acquisition in physical stores, at the point-of-sale and other offline locations.
Bronto's responsive email templates are among several mobile/SMS marketing features available as part of the Bronto Marketing Platform, which combines email and cross-channel marketing to help commerce marketers drive more revenue.
