Base Sets Its Sites on the Enterprise CRM Market

Base has added several enterprise features to its core CRM product.

The new features include the following:

  • User-level permissions control data access levels within Base and allow flexible grant or restriction of data access per team or user.
  • Teams lets companies organize their teams by regions, groups, etc., providing visibility benefits to both managers and administrators.
  • Advanced reporting offers detailed reports on performance by every area of hierarchy (upstream, downstream and siblings), filtered by any individuals or groups set up in Base.
  • Voice integrates a full suite of calling features, including: voice calls functionality (to and from Base), dedicated phone number in app, call tools, call recording, analytics and automatic call logging, all available on Web and mobile devices.

Base offers native apps for Android, iPhone, iPad and Windows phones.

"As the top-rated CRM app in multiple mobile marketplaces, and more than 10,000 customers, we were constantly receiving requests from large organizations for a feature set that would answer their needs," said Uzi Shmilovici, CEO of Base, in a statement. "We can't wait to shake things up in the enterprise. Large teams and companies using traditional SaaS CRM won't believe how much more productive they are when they have software they actually love using."
