LinguaSys Releases Sentiment@Work

LinguaSys, a provider of natural language processing solutions, today released Sentiment@Work, a translation and data mining tool for social media and other digital content. Sentiment@Work currently supports 15 languages.

The sentiment analysis and entity extraction application, which is available for on-premises or cloud-based deployments, helps companies understand what their customers are saying in their own languages, down to the clause level, with breakthroughs in linguistic sentiment granularity.

Businesses can integrate the technology within their firewalls, tailoring the highly-customizable solution with specific vocabularies and other applications, such as advanced text analytics and machine translation, or using LinguaSys semantic analysis as an extension of existing analytics systems.

Sentiment@Work currently supports Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, German, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, Malay, Pashto, Persian, Urdu, Hebrew, and Arabic. French will be added soon.

"If your company has to know what global customers are saying in their own languages, even when they offer opinions about multiple subjects in the same Tweet or content unit, Sentiment@Work is the solution," said Brian Garr, CEO of LinguaSys, in a statement. "For example, our clients want to know what a Russian-speaking guest really said in her own language about both the hotel room and breakfast in the same Tweet."
