HP Extends Multichannel Capabilities
The company adds video and digital mailboxes to its Exstream customer communications management solution.

HP is extending the multichannel capabilities of HP Exstream, its customer communications management (CCM) solution, to include SmartVideo and digital mailbox services.

HP is collaborating with solutions providers SundaySky, Pitney Bowes Volly and Zumbox to enable enterprise clients to use HP Exstream to deliver personalized customer communications via SMS, email, web and now SmartVideo and digital mailboxes.

HP Exstream 8.0 also includes improved digital color and graphics and integration with enterprise data sources. With the addition of SmartVideo by SundaySky, HP Exstream enterprise clients can distribute personalized, video-based communications in a way that's engaging and easy to understand.

Organizations can now send narrated videos that showcase the latest, most personally relevant information, such as account usage, services used, recent activity and payment history as well as relay video communications by linking the SmartVideo to consumers via email, smartphone, tablet and web portal.

"SmartVideo creates better customer experiences that drive loyalty, increase lifetime customer value and boost brand advocacy," said Jim Dicso, president and chief revenue officer at SundaySky, in a statement. "By working with HP Exstream, SundaySky can deliver these benefits to more companies and further enhance the way consumers interact with these brands throughout the customer life cycle."

Now, with services from Pitney Bowes Volly and Zumbox, clients using HP Exstream can also offer their customers digital mailboxes with a single password to access and print their account information, add alerts and reminders, and securely view and organize documents. Digital mailboxes offer an alternative to traditional postal mail, allowing users to access and manage bills and statements from multiple companies in one central location online.
