Source Metrics, providers of a social media marketing analytics platform, today released a new browser plug-in that transforms any social publishing platform into a full conversion-tracking tool.

The plug-in allows users to paste Source Metrics trackable links into any post without ever leaving their social media publishing tools. It works seamlessly with such apps as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Spredfast, and Radian6. With these trackable links, users can track clicks, conversions, and in-store or online sales from published social content.

"We strive to make it as easy as possible for brands and retailers to track the in-store and online ROI of social media marketing campaigns," said Scott Lake, CEO of Source Metrics, in a statement. "This browser plug-in launch was designed specifically with ease-of-use in mind, in that we wanted to make sure digital marketers could get the benefit of all of our outstanding metrics without having to change their toolset."
