Interfacing Technologies Acquires Leading Web Live Chat Software HeyBubble

Interfacing Technologies has acquired HeyBubble, a provider of Web live chat software. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The addition of HeyBubble's cloud-based sales and support live chat application strengthens Interfacing's portfolio by adding thousands of small and midsized firms from diversified industries to its enterprise customer base.

"This acquisition solidifies our commitment to providing tangible value to our clients through software solutions," said Jean-Francois Sauve, Interfacing's CEO, in a statement. "Live chat is the fastest way to communicate with customers and provide online assistance instantly. Our clients will benefit from an improved overall customer experience."

"We chose HeyBubble mainly because of the great innovation we saw in its product, including its differentiating Skype integration, mobile compatibility, and advanced analytics," said Scott Armstrong, Interfacing's chief operating officer, in a statement. Our HeyBubble growth strategy will benefit all existing and similar customers and also cater to Interfacing's corporate clientele as well."

Interfacing expanded its Montreal operations by opening a new office whereby HeyBubble will now be based. HeyBubble will continue to be sold independent of Interfacing's business process management software as a stand-alone live chat application under the HeyBubble brand.
