ClearSlide, provider of a sales engagement platform, has acquired mobile email application SeedMail from Chinese-based Mangrove Technologies and has launched ClearSlide Mail. With ClearSlide Mail, salespeople can be more responsive on their mobile devices and gain insight into prospects' activities while away from the office.

In addition to being an email client for Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, Exchange, and more, ClearSlide Mail provides salespeople and leaders the ability to track customer engagement, send ClearSlide content, and include re-usable message templates. These capabilities mirror the capabilities in the ClearSlide Web-based and email-plugin platforms.

"ClearSlide will integrate into any app or device that salespeople use to frequently communicate with customers, especially mobile devices. We continue to redefine the modern sales team and dramatically improve our customers’ sales productivity," said Al Lieb, CEO of ClearSlide, in a statement. "ClearSlide Mail brings the full power of ClearSlide to mobile devices and enables sales people to communicate with customers and substantially accelerate sales cycles. We saw great potential in the award-winning SeedMail app and were very excited to partner with Mangrove on bringing their beautiful interface and easy-to-use technology into the ClearSlide family of products."

The ClearSlide Mail app is available for free in the Apple App Store and will allow all users to connect to other services like Box and Dropbox in order to pull content to include in emails. In order to leverage the advanced features and sales-specific insights and analytics built into the app, customers will need a ClearSlide account.
