Cabinet Releases Salesforce.com Integration App

Cabinet Document Management Solutions, a provider of content management and workflow solutions, has released a Salesforce.com integration app.

The Cabinet Salesforce app facilitates a real-time sync between users' Cabinet SAFE CLOUD document repositories and Account and Contact records within Salesforce.com, making critical client and prospect documents, such as contracts, amendments, letters of agreement. and key correspondence, available to salespeople and account managers in Salesforce.com.

"I love the convenience of being able to see all my Cabinet documents in Salesforce and still have the structure of Cabinet," said Lorie Jones, client services specialist/paraplanner at Gallacher Capital Management, in a statement. "It is so easy to file and view my data. This app is everything I could have asked for in an integration, and Cabinet is very easy to work with to get everything up and running. Everyone loves the new app."

Because documents are located within the SAFE database rather than duplicated between multiple systems, Cabinet’s security, workflow, retention. and role-based permission capabilities remain in place. Documents can be checked out or checked in and folder and document metadata can be modified from directly within Salesforce.com.

"Salesforce is ubiquitous in today's business world," said Andrew Bailey, president of Cabinet, in a statement. "It's the engine behind many of the biggest brands in the world and a critical piece of the IT ecosystem for many of our clients. The Cabinet Salesforce app creates invaluable workflow efficiencies, automatically syncing documents between a business' content management and sales systems of record. Documents retain the organization, rights management, and version control users have come to expect from Cabinet but can be accessed directly from a Salesforce custom object. It's the best of both worlds."
