Oblate Missionary Society Opts for DonorDirect

The Oblate Missionary Society, Inc. (OMSI), an international Catholic organization that serves the poor, has signed on with DonorDirect, a provider of donor management software solutions, to employ its DonorStudio, DirectToCRM, and StudioOnline software. The DonorDirect product suite will provide OMSI a multichannel platform to communicate and interact with contributors.

DonorDirect will help OMSI consolidate all donor data into one central location inside of DonorStudio, which provides basic ministry activities, such as transaction entry, reporting and analysis, and segmentation. The segmentation tool will allow OMSI to create and modify groups for direct mail appeals. DirectToCRM will allow OMSI’s donor development team to coordinate email, follow-up tasks, phone calls, appointments, and much more. The direct integration between DirectToCRM and Microsoft Outlook allows them to work in a familiar environment. StudioOnline will allow contributors to donate to various missions, receive religious products, sign up for online offerings and email newsletters, update their contact information, and see all past transactions.

"OMSI utilizes a broad array of features in its ministry and fundraising activities. DonorDirect's planned installation meets a significant number of them, integrates with a variety of third-party products, and avoids significant customizations," said Ken Amerson, chairman of the OMSI Donor Database Implementation Coordination Team.
