PeopleSoft has made available its User Productivity Kit, a multilanguage content and development tool that enables organizations to create customizable content for documentation, performance support, and classroom and Web-based training. The User Productivity Kit provides organizations with a synchronized platform to produce, deploy, and publish training content in a variety of formats within a single authoring session. According to the company, these features will help drive user adoption of PeopleSoft solutions within the enterprise. Salesforce.com announced that its new sforce Toolkit for the Borland JBuilder X development environment is now available and will be shipped with JBuilder. The Toolkit is designed to assist Borland Java solutions developers to build custom-tailored software-as-service CRM solutions, with lower cost and less complexity, Salesforce.com says.
QlikTech announced the release of version 6.02 of its QlikView business intelligence software suite. The company says this latest version of QlikView provides improved thin Web clients and ad-hoc reporting capabilities, as well as enhanced dashboard and collaborative BI features that allow employees to share information and insight throughout any organization. E-Z Data has unveiled SmartOffice, its new family of CRM products. Designed for use by financial services firms, the end-to-end CRM suite comes in three versions: SmartOffice Online, the hosted version; SmartOffice, for midsize firms; and SmartOffice Enterprise, designed for the larger financial services firms. Edocs has released a new version of its flagship product, eaSuite 4.0. The new version introduces new and enhanced B2B capabilities for e-invoicing, business reporting and analytics, enterprise hierarchy management, and online self-care, according to edocs. Help Desk Technology Corporation today announced the release of Version 8.0 of its HelpSTAR software for internal and external help desks. The new edition features a completely redesigned interface that uses hyperlinks to speed navigation, plus a new asset management module for tracking IT assets and monitoring software license compliance. It also adds a variety of tools to expedite and measure first-call problem resolution, facilitate complex data analysis, and fine-tune priority escalation to aid adherence to service level agreements. Encover has released version 3.0 of its flagship Encover suite, which is designed to help manufacturers and their channel partners maximize revenue from service contracts. New and enhanced capabilities in Encover 3.0 enable manufacturers to collaborate with channel partners throughout the service contract lifecycle and include new multiparty support with enhanced role-based access, the ability to handle multiparty agreements, and more robust upsell and cross-sell capabilities.
