Unica Corp. has launched Affinium 6, the latest version of its enterprise marketing-management solution. The new version includes a new lead management and processing module, as well as expanded reporting and analysis tools. It also includes significant business process--driven enhancements to Unica's Plan, Model, and Campaign applications, according to the company. IBM and
Siebel Systems have extended their alliance wherein IBM's Business Consulting Service agents will dedicate their efforts to helping clients better realize value from Siebel's new analytics capabilities. In addition, both companies say they are collaborating in the development of industry specific business-intelligence solutions and infrastructure optimization across the range of IBM software and hardware solutions. Salesforce.com's products are now available in Portuguese language editions, bringing the total number of languages supported by the platform to 11. E.piphany and SmartPath have announced they will jointly market and sell the newly released E.piphany Marketing Management software solution, a configured version of SmartPath's own marketing management solution integrated with the E.piphany Campaign Management and Epiphany Interaction Advisor solutions. Alcatel and HP have agreed to jointly develop and market a suite of advanced, integrated IT and communication solutions, specifically designed for SMBs. The companies are launching a new Ready Office program for SMBs as part of the agreement. They're are partnering with leading telecommunications service providers throughout the world to provide SMB customers with modular, turn-key solutions to address productivity needs, from PCs and servers to software, network access, voice, data and multimedia services. Composite Software announced the introduction of the Composite Information Server, which allows corporate users easier access to the information they need, regardless of the formats, locations, and systems involved. According to the company, the product creates an information infrastructure layer that delivers custom views of information from disparate sources for use by executives, employees, customers, and partners.
