Avidian Technologies Announces Prophet Mobile Web
Avidian Technologies yesterday launched Prophet Mobile Web, enabling Prophet OnDemand users access to their CRM data from any Internet-connected mobile device.
"The iPhone, iPad, and various Android devices have had a tremendous impact on the way companies do business," said Tim Nguyen, chief information officer of Avidian Technologies, in a statement. "Prophet Mobile Web empowers users of these devices and virtually any other mobile platform with a Web browser to take their customer and sales information with them wherever they go."
Prophet Mobile Web is the company's newest extension of its Microsoft Outlook-based CRM solutions. Features include:
- Access contacts, companies and opportunity data from a mobile device.
- Secure login.
- View, create, and edit opportunities.
- Add data/time stamp notes.
- Track activity types associated with notes.
- Add and edit products and services associated with opportunities.
- Access and edit contacts directly from within Prophet Mobile Web.
- Call and email contacts directly from within Prophet Mobile Web.
"Avidian is all about helping salespeople sell more by serving their clients better and having more access to data with an easy solution," says James Wong, CEO of Avidian Technologies. "One thing that all phones have in common is that they all integrate with Outlook and people are already taking their contacts and calendar with them. What we do is add the sales capability to it so I can take all of my notes with me to the opportunity."
Wong says small to midsized businesses are the target customers for the on-demand and on-premises solution. "We want to be the Quikbooks of CRM," he says. "Our CRM is very easy to use, very easy to get started."
