Colin Burns is a senior manager of digital and social media in Corporate Communications within the AT&T Global Marketing Organization. Burns develops and leads strategic social media programs; manages social media operations; oversees social channel publishing; and coordinates with stakeholders to develop and implement social media plans to align with corporate strategy.
Most recently, Burns spearheaded the digital age at AT&T with the Communications News Operation Center (CNOC), a platform and service that aggregates social data into one easy-to-read coverage report and gauges customer sentiment across AT&T and its competitors in real time. Prior to AT&T, Burns launched the consumer social media strategy at Chipotle Mexican Grill and Match.com, as well as represented brand presence for a number of corporations including Red Bull. Burns holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Texas Christian University and is currently pursuing his MBA at University of Texas at Dallas.
