
Anthony is responsible globally for the go to market and business development of SAP’s Social CRM and Emerging Solutions; focused on influencing the delivery of business value based social innovation to SAP’s Cloud, On-Premise and Mobile CRM (Customer LoB) customer prospects and customers. Anthony is responsible for developing SAP’s market opportunity for Social Sales, Marketing and Support, enabling SAP customers to connect more with their customers through new, socially inspired, interaction models.
Prior to this, Anthony was responsible for the Solution Management and Go to Market activities of SAP’s Sales, Service and Marketing Solutions, pushing innovation to improve customer insight and intimacy in a way that delights customers and exceeds expectations.
Joining SAP in 2009, Anthony was initially responsible for all the “Go to Market” activities of the SAP Business Suite Solution Management and was charged with ensuring the value of the Suite was understood and could be communicated clearly from internal executives through to SAP customers and partners.
Anthony joined SAP from Oracle corporate where he held the role of Head of CRM On Demand Product Management for Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA). In this role, Anthony was responsible for the solution business development and growth as well as providing direction on product development and customer consultations on business and technology strategies, and solution landscapes and enterprise architecture guidance.
Prior to Oracle’s acquisition of Siebel, Anthony was the Chief Technology Director for EMEA at Siebel, where he worked closely with the customer base to ensure technology was applied to deliver excellence in customer interactions. He designed and developed Siebel's Information Technology Strategy offering and was universally recognised as a leading authority on Siebel’s technology and architecture.
Starting at Siebel Systems in 1997, Anthony was one of the founding members of the European Sales organisation. He specialised in Siebel Tools, Data Model and Integration frameworks; where he became an authority on Siebel solution design and implementation, and was recognised for influencing many areas of the products design, growth and sales execution strategy.
From 1993 he spent five years at Oracle, holding various positions in Education, Alliances and Product Marketing. He previously held a CIO position, where he was responsible for implementing a diverse range of solutions including CRM tools, HR, ERP solutions and executive graphical reporting.
In advance of his 22-years in the technology sector, Anthony qualified as a builder and surveyor in the construction industry, where he pioneered innovative software solutions for supporting customer-facing activities.
