POSITION SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Chanel Inc. a leader in the luxury goods industry is seeking a CRM Analyst. The CRM Analyst's primary role is to ensure data integrity and quality of the boutique client database and to provide actionable client insight for the Fashion and Watch & Fine Jewelry divisions. The analyst will support the Strategy & Client Analytics team on all major strategic initiatives such as client reporting automation and segmentation.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting and Analysis

  • Perform regular client analyses for business management and strategic initiatives
  • Analyze client purchase patterns and create client recap presentations and executive summary reports
  • Execute ad hoc database queries and KPI reporting
  • Client segmentation reporting and strategy recommendations
  • Partner with the Merchandising team to better understand product trends by client segment
  • Creation of new and/or improved client reports (i.e. cross-shop, path to purchase, RFM etc.)
  • Support the development of the boutique CRM dashboards
  • Help enforce data capture standards
  • CRM data entry and flagging

Marketing Campaign Execution

  • Set up and pull lists for direct mail and email campaigns
  • Pull client lists for events and collection previews
  • Comprehensive, timely ROI reporting and recommendations for all marketing campaigns and events

Database Maintenance

  • Responsible for monitoring, maintaining and managing the Chanel Client database
  • Verify correct data flow from multiple client data sources
  • Perform data quality audits to maintain and assure data integrity and provide regular status reports to management
  • Work with the IT team and the CRM vendor to manage all system upgrades and changes
  • Monitor and provide data on systems/application performance and provide/execute recommendations for corrective actions
  • Serve as the day-to-day contact for the CRM vendor

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Economics

Minimum Years of Experience: Must have 3 – 5 years of experience developing, implementing and managing databases and performing data analysis

 

 

 

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Strong blend of database knowledge, analytical, communication and marketing skills
  • Problem solving skills with a strong drive to seek resolution to issues
  • Advanced Excel and data modeling
  • Strong knowledge of CRM database functions and Business Intelligence systems
  • Ability to glean insights/patterns from large data sets
  • Understanding of data quality and hygiene standards
  • PowerPoint presentation skills
  • Familiarity with IT functions: including system architect & landscape
  • Experience with digital marketing
  • SQL knowledge preferred
