Analyst, Customer Relationship Management

Position Purpose:

The Analyst, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is responsible for supporting the execution of CRM efforts in close collaboration with marketing partners and the CRM team. Drives the campaign design, quality assurance, and list delivery preparation through IBM Campaign and Interact. In this role, the Analyst will support the efforts to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of campaign execution through better and more structured business processes, deployment of database marketing best practices, and effective use of IBM Campaign and Interact.


Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:
  • 20%: Capture marketing campaign requirements through close collaboration with marketing partners
  • 40%: Provide marketing support, including set-up of campaigns and strategies in IBM Campaign and Interact, for small to medium size campaigns
  • 40%: Design, test and execute campaigns using product- and activity-based purchase triggers, segment and personalization rules to support business goals

Nature and Scope
  • Position reports to the Sr. Manager, Customer Relationship Management
  • No associates report to this role on a permanent basis, but requires the technical leadership of a project work team: may select team members and assess capabilities, provide technical training, provide information necessary to meet work, project or program objectives, evaluate program or project performance.

Environmental Job Requirements:
  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Travel:
  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be eighteen years of age
  • Must pass the Drug Test
  • Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable

Education Required:
  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a associate's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
Years of Relevant Work Experience: 1 years

Physical Requirements:
  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree within a technical field is strongly preferred
  • Previous retail experience strongly preferred
  • Previous CRM experience strongly preferred
  • Project management skills are strongly preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate analytical information in clear, concise presentations
  • Experienced in CRM execution and management, preferably in a retail context
  • Experienced in the application of segmentation and predictive modeling
  • Strong analytical skills skilled in utilizing Unica and other CRM software
  • Proficient with PowerPoint, Excel, Access
