Michael Bloom is CEO of Chief Marketing Solutions, an agency thought leader in email, digital, and multichannel marketing strategy, and creator of Rapid Marketing Transformation™, an industry best practices solution for rapidly transforming marketing performance. Bloom’s initiatives with Hearst Magazines helped power the launch of the “Hearst Perks Premium Email Media” program for which Hearst won the Direct Marketing Association’s 2014 Marketer of the Year Award. Before launching Chief Marketing Solutions in 2010, Bloom served as Chief Marketing Officer at Trump University, a business unit in The Trump Organization headed by Donald Trump, General Manager of Datran Direct at Datran Media, and Chief Information Officer of Audio Book Club. He also held senior marketing positions at American Family Enterprises (a unit of Time Inc.), AT&T, Western Union, and Sony, and successfully managed email and digital campaigns for clients including TD Ameritrade, Disney, DirecTV, and Verizon. Bloom was nominated for 2013 Email Marketer Thought Leader of the Year in the Email Experience Council of the Direct Marketing Association. He has been featured as an expert speaker at national marketing conferences and has written articles for leading industry publications. Bloom graduated from Cornell University in 1984 and earned his MBA as a Merit Scholar at SUNY Albany in 1986.
