Charles Swift is vice president, strategy and marketing operations for Hearst Magazines, a unit of Hearst Corporation. In his role, he is accountable for Hearst’s fully integrated print, digital and online customer marketing database and the associated targeting, execution and analysis of marketing campaigns. Swift also has responsibility for Hearst’s magazine email marketing, fulfillment, customer service and list rental activities. Prior to Hearst, Swift served as vice president, consumer marketing for LexisNexis, where he oversaw consumer marketing efforts for the company's U.S. Legal Markets division. He was previously vice president, direct marketing and research at LexisNexis, where he started in 2006. Swift served as vice president, business analysis at Columbia House Company from 2003 to 2005 and held several management positions at American Express Company from 1996 to 2003, including vice president, information and analysis and vice president, business development. Prior to American Express, Swift was with Booz Allen Hamilton. Swift is a current board member of Princeton Alumni Weekly magazine, Marketing EDGE, and the Seeger Bartlett Foundation.
