Logi and Actian Partner on Big Data Analytics

Logi Analytics and Actian, provider of a big data analytics platform that runs natively in Hadoop, today announced their technology alliance. The Actian Analytics Platform combined with Logi Info now offers customers a comprehensive analytics platform to connect, visualize, analyze, and act on big data.

Logi Info, which can embed analytics directly into operational business applications, connects directly to the Actian Analytics Platform to leverage its speed, analytical breadth, and massive data scale without requiring data modeling or additional performance acceleration layers or techniques.

"Together, Logi Analytics and Actian help empower the enterprise to enrich the growing seamless flow of data into actionable analytics delivered at the right time and place to the people who need it most," said Kevin Greene, vice president of business development and channels at Logi Analytics, in a statement.

"The next 30 years will be about analytics workloads. The tap has been turned on and will not be turned off," said Fred Gallagher, vice president of strategic business at Actian, in a statement. "We are pleased to partner with Logi Analytics to provide our customers with an affordable portfolio of business intelligence products that enable end users to capture the time value of their data."

For Actian, this marks the second key partnership in less than a year. The company in November partnered with Attivio to expand its business intelligence solution.
