QlikView 6 offers complete Windows automation API, which allows it to launch within, say, Excel and vice versa. Also, it supports 64-bit Itanium environments, so it can handle an unlimited volume of data. It is available in online and offline versions and works in a mixed environment. www.qliktech.com Data Quality Teradata has announced version 5.0 of its CRM suite. The company says Teradata CRM 5.0 has been enhanced to better identify industry-specific business opportunities. For example, the application now enables users to identify customers who have interacted at different times for the same purpose, such as a traveler who has visited a Web site at separate times to book a flight, hotel, and car, rather than simultaneously booking all three. Users also can now identify customers who are not doing something, for example, customers who are not using their bank's ATM or customers who have signed up for an account but have not activated it. www.teradata.com CRM Soffront Software announced the release of version 8.0 of its CRM solution. The suite includes marketing, sales, customer support, defect tracking, employee support, and portal applications. www.soffront.com Analytics Analytics software provider WebSideStory announced the launch of HitBox Decision Mining, a comprehensive outsourced data warehousing service. HitBox Decision Mining allows new and existing clients of HitBox real-time Web analytics to extend their collection and storage of online visitor and customer behavior data.
