ASP provider AskIT.com has launched a more powerful and user-friendly version of its AskIt! System. Now when you are searching a Web site using AskIt!, the search engine can automatically display the answer when a question has an exact match in the knowledgebase (the original system offered a selection of relevant answers). The database of answers has also been strengthened by improvements to AskIt!'s natural language processing, increasing the system's ability to recognize similar questions and to create an order for matching questions, ranging from the most to the least similar. Itronix, a manufacturer of wireless mobile computing solutions, has unveiled the Itronix GoBook, which the company says is the fastest notebook PC for field-based mobile workforces. The notebook combines PC technology with broad new wireless capabilities. GoBook offers PC lap architectures, such as Intel Pentium III or Celeron CPU with color display and three-button touchpad navigation. GoBook is also shipped with Bluetooth, the new short-range radio standard, giving users the ability to communicate with printers or other peripherals wirelessly.
