  • On January 4 SPSS Inc., an analytical technology provider, announced the appointment of Brian K. Zanghi as executive vice president and COO. Zanghi's responsibilities include supervision, administration, and coordination of the five division presidents in support of policies, goals, and objectives established by the CEO and board of directors. Schleyer resigned from its board of directors to concentrate all of his efforts on his new responsibilities as president and CEO of AT&T Broadband.   • Xevo Corp. appointed Michael Dering as president and CEO. Dering also has been appointed to the company's board of directors.
