CUSTOMER WINS Omniture, a provider of on-demand Web analytics, announced that
American Greeting (AG) Interactive, the media subsidiary of American Greeting, upgraded to SiteCatalyst in late January. AG uses Omniture to measure and improve conversion rates by customer segment, search engine optimization, effectiveness of traffic growth initiatives, marketing programs, and branding and content changes. Information Services Extended has implemented a technology platform at Eniro Finland that supports the launch of a new directory search and information service. Eniro Finland will use the Isx FlexiSearch database and other Isx FlexiQ technologies to launch its new voice-based directory assistance services. Isx will enable Eniro to leverage all its information resources to improve customer service and offer advanced location-based services like proximity-searches, mapping, and directions. ON THE MOVE Connextions, a provider of integrated contact center, fulfillment, and technology outsourcing services, has appointed Mike Tripp executive vice president of contact center operations for Connextions and its healthcare industry division, Connextions Health. Tripp joins Connextions from APAC Customer Services, where he was regional vice president of the company's West Division. NEW PRODUCTS Coremetrics, a provider of hosted Web analytics and marketing solutions, launched LIVEmark, a benchmarking solution to measure online consumer behaviors. Built on Coremetrics LIVE Profiles, LIVEmark enables users to measure themselves against industry averages on KPIs like campaign and channel effectiveness, site stickiness, and conversion rates. The idea is to allow managers to measure their business performance against peers and competitors. Exact Software has made available a new electronic data interchange (EDI) solution that provides improved functionality for customers conducting transactions through a supply chain. Exact EDI is an all-in-one solution designed to provide greater compatibility by giving trading partners the ability to feed standardized, formatted data into separate systems on each end of the line. Exact EDI was created through a partnership with Data Masons Software, a firm specializing in advanced EDI solutions. Salesforce.com announced it is working to deliver integrated real-time collaboration solutions built on Microsoft Office Live Meeting to help businesses communicate and collaborate with geographically dispersed customers, partners, and colleagues. The integration with Live Meeting will provide for access from within Salesforce.com. This will allow Salesforce.com's approximately 227,000 subscribers and 13,900 customers one click access through sforce to Live Meeting. NetSuite has launched NetCRM-Services Edition. Designed to meet the specific needs of service-based businesses, NetCRM-Services Edition offers features like service item management, project/job tracking, client self-service center, advanced activity and time tracking, and document management. Also, when deployed as part of the complete NetSuite ERP/CRM solution, service-based businesses can go from proposal to invoice in a single, integrated action. Nortel Networks and SIPquest, a developer of session initiation protocol (SIP)-based IP Telephony software applications, are working together to enable service providers to deliver advanced SIP-based multimedia services to residential and corporate customers over wireless handheld devices. The companies will initially focus on delivering capabilities like instant messages for services delivered to handhelds like the RIM's Blackberry, Sony-Ericcson P900, and other smart phones.
