NEW PRODUCTS DoubleClick unveiled a new version of its licensed software for online ad management, DART Enterprise 6.0. New features and enhancements include frequency capping at the ad, flight, and site/affiliate levels; same-page ad restriction enhancements that allow advertisers to own a whole page and prevent competing industry ads from appearing on the same page; optimized forecasting tools; and new platform support for Linux log processing.
Contact Networks has announced the availability of its enterprise relationship search application, ContactNet 4.0. Built for large enterprises, the tool allows businesses to securely access and use the relationships and social networks that employees have with outside contacts, according to the company. New features include the ability to search for target contacts by business function, geography, and industry; detailed personal control levels over contact sharing; and enhanced security and preference settings. ON THE MOVE Christopher Baker has been named president of Group 1 Software, effective July 1. Baker most recently served as vice president of sales and customer development at Pitney Bowes Document Messaging Technologies. Replacing Baker as vice president of U.S. sales and customer development is Patrick Brand. Interactive Intelligence has added Richard Reck to its board of directors, effective July 1. Reck is the founder and president of Business Strategy Advisors, a consultancy that serves technology-based companies. BearingPoint has named Judy Ethell executive vice president of finance and CAO. She also will be a member of BearingPoint's executive leadership team, which is responsible for the strategic direction of the company. IN THE NEWS Epixtar has entered into an agreement with SER Solutions to purchase $3.07 million of SER's call management solutions for the company's call centers to be delivered over the next 18 months. As a result, Epixtar plans to put an additional 2,000 seats into operation. Transware has acquired GlobalSight, a provider of infrastructure software for content globalization. Transware provides localization solutions that include everything from complex e-learning programs to lengthy technical documents, enterprisewide software, and globally developed Web sites. CUSTOMER WINS OfficeMax has selected e-Dialog to be its full-service marketing partner, providing strategy and analytics, data, campaign and content management, and creative recommendations. The retailer also will utilize e-Dialog's products, including Campaign Builder and Insight Builder, to create its own audience lists and deploy email campaigns. Onyx has announced an alliance agreement with ABeam Consulting under which ABeam will promote and provide consulting services for Onyx's customer process solutions to the Japanese market. The two organizations will partner to provide an integrated offering of services and software from strategic review and business process re-engineering to project scooping and the implementation of Onyx's customer process software.
