CUSTOMER WINS Salesforce.com announced that
Learning.com, a developer of online technology curriculum and integration tools for the education market, is using Supportforce.com, Salesforce.com's customer service solution. Learning.com will use the application to manage its EasyTech trial-account setup. EasyTech is a solution for technology integration across core subject areas, and is delivered online to K-8 schools. Learning.com adopted the new application to manage the surge of prospects and customers following the August 2004 release of EasyTech 4.0. Experian and ISO have entered into an agreement to make Experian's SmartBusinessReports available to insurance professionals. Users of ISO's Specific Property Information suite will now have access to additional information to assess business risk and assist in the underwriting process. Customers will be able to access information that previously required a separate subscription. Pivotal Corporation announced that Beazer Homes, one of America's largest homebuilders, has deployed Pivotal Homebuilder FrontOffice nationwide. Beazer Homes will use FrontOffice to automate its sales process and customer care. PRODUCT NEWS ePeople announced a new version of CTMail, its email- and site-management software. The new version has enhanced features designed to accelerate end-to-end clinical trials through shared processes. The new release will also offer the ability to manage email and sites across multiple trials from a single user interface. CTMail is targeted at clinical researchers within pharmaceutical, medical device, and research centers. Genalytics announced it has added new features to the DB Extract module of its advanced analytics platform. The updated version will provide a more flexible interface to better access information from databases, simplify data transformation, and create datasets without IT assistance. The overall goal for the upgrade is to help streamline the process of acquiring and transforming enterprise data prior to analyzing it and building datasets. ON THE MOVE Aberdeen Group announced that Lisa Davis, an executive with more than 20 years of direct and channel sales experience, has joined the company as vice president of sales and business development. Davis was founder and president of Rosebud Consulting, the business development arm of Rosebud Legal. Aberdeen also announced the appointment of Julie Murphree to the position of vice president and editor-in-chief of Aberdeen's research site, AberdeenAccess. Related article: Midmarket Champions
