Cirrus Insight Lets Users Customize Their CRM

Cirruspath, maker of the CIrrus Insight plug-in for Google's Gmail platform, today announced that users can customize the app inside Gmail to maximize sales productivity.

Cirrus Insight is an app for integrating Salesforce with Gmail and Google Apps. Administrators and users of Cirrus Insight can now build their own CRM inside Gmail by choosing which custom fields and custom objects to display inside Gmail. Cirrus Insight also enables users to create and edit CRM records inline from Gmail, and even syncs events with Google Calendar.

Cirrus Insight installs in Chrome and Firefox in a single click and instantly displays contextual customer information alongside email in Gmail, enabling users to view contacts, create new leads, and track email, all from their Gmail Inbox. Users can also save email and attachments to their CRM system.

"One of the main reasons that Salesforce is the number one CRM is because it's easy to customize," said Ryan Huff, CEO and co-founder of Cirruspath, in a statement. "Cirrus Insight was the first app to bring Salesforce intelligence into Gmail, and is now the first to give users the ability to fully customize the app to match their business processes and workflow rules. We're amazed to see what our customers are already doing with this new functionality to maximize their sales efficiency and effectiveness."
