Wiredrive Integrates with Adobe Creative Cloud

Media management company Wiredrive has released four integrations with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator. The new integrations enable users to access their Wiredrive media from inside the Adobe environment, with the goal of streamlining workflows, particularly when it comes to adding images and video to marketing and promotional campaigns.

Wiredrive provides users with easy access to and sharing capabilities for their media; it has several features designed to simplify the processes of managing and using media. A digital library ensures that works-in-progress—as well as finalized projects—are stored and organized in a centralized place, and custom tags can be created to further organize content. The solution also includes search functionality and instant filtering, as well as security protocols to protect user data.

"Wiredrive is a tool that's great for creative media management—we allow creatives to not only take all of their different assets—whether that's video, imagery, any type of digital asset—we easily allow them to upload into Wiredrive," says Katie DiMento, digital marketing manager at Wiredrive. "Performance is key here—it's very quick, and they can collaborate with different team members either internally, or, if they're an agency and they need to work with a brand or production house, it's all cloud-based, so they're easily able to share that and do reviews and approvals."

After surveying its customers, Wiredrive found that three-quarters of respondents used Premiere Pro and After Effects daily, and more than half use Photoshop and Illustrator daily. These results led the company to introduce integrations with all four Adobe products. Now, users have access to Wiredrive functionality from an internal panel within the Adobe environment, allowing them to search their media library, import media directly into the Adobe workflow, and export it back into Wiredrive to share with others.

"One of the biggest challenges for creatives is working against the clock. Having the Wiredrive integration directly into Adobe really allows them to stay within the tools that they work in, and easily upload, grab their work, download from the system, make edits, and re-upload back to the project," DiMento says. "They never actually have to leave the Adobe tool…they're able to quickly find their assets, upload, download, right within the system, and not have to go outside of the tools that they're already using."

The integration with Adobe Creative Cloud is part of a larger plan for Wiredrive in 2016. The company plans to completely overhaul its core platform, as well as release an updated, mobile-compatible version of its presentation and video playback features. The company also plans to pursue partnerships in the creative authoring, ad tech, collaboration, and VR spaces.
