Update Software CFO Resigns

One of Europe's leading CRM vendors, Update Software AG, said that Chief Financial Officer Marcus Mühlberger is leaving the company to pursue other interests. "I have enjoyed my time at update very much. update is an exciting, international company with potential. Now that the operational restructuring programme is complete, the time is right for me to pursue other interests," Mühlberger said in a statement. Update Chief Executive Gerhard Schuberth will assume Mühlberger's responsibilities until a replacement is appointed. "Throughout the restructuring and reorientation programme, which is now behind us, the entire update team demonstrated a level of performance which was second to none. Thanks to the people who work here, update can now look forward to successful times. I would like to thank Mr Mühlberger for his contribution and wish him all the best," Schuberth said in a statement. "We are talking to a number of candidates for this position. We did not want to incapacitate Mr Mühlberger for the entire selection process and have therefore agreed to terminate his contract."
