On December 7 OTG Software Inc., a provider of next-generation data management and collaboration solutions, announced the appointment of Ron Corriveau as vice president of strategic markets and alliances. Corriveau will be responsible for partnerships with software vendors and will report directly to William Caple, executive vice president at OTG. Corriveau was previously vice president of services marketing at Computer Associates International Inc. Additionally, the company announced the appointments of Nancy Marino as director of sales for messaging products; Doug Herrington as vice president of enterprise storage sales; and Dan Kehoe as vice president of sales operations. MatrixOne Inc., a provider of product collaboration solutions for the value chain, appointed Don Hunt to the role of senior vice president of worldwide field operations on December 6. Hunt will be responsible for MatrixOne's global sales organization and the strategic development of MatrixOne's partner program and vertical market initiatives. Most recently, Hunt was senior vice president of worldwide field operations at CRM solutions provider Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories Inc. Robert Richmond joined NEC eLuminant Technologies Inc. as senior vice president and CTO on December 6. Richmond has held various executive positions at Hughes Network Systems, a unit of Hughes Electronics Corporation, and Corvis Corporation before moving to the Chantilly, Va.-based subsidiary of NEC USA. Concordant Inc., a North Chelmsford, Mass.-based IT consulting firm, announced the appointment of Matthew Demers as program executive on December 6. Demers will oversee the management of Concordant's $5.1 million contract with Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Massachusetts. Prior to joining Concordant, Demers spent eight years in the U.S. Air Force, where he held numerous senior-level positions in systems and network operations. On December 5 software provider eXcelon Corporation announced the promotion of Philip Lee to president. Additionally, the company announced the union of its corporate division with its Object Design division, which provides native C++ and Java data management solutions. Lee will oversee the sales, marketing, and operations for the entire company. Lee was most recently with Object Design and replaces Mark Cosway, eXcelon's former president and head of solutions sales. Cosway has chosen to pursue other career opportunities, company representatives say. EXcelon's COO Satish Maripuri also has announced his intent to leave the company and pursue other interests. DWL Inc., a provider of real-time enterprise customer management applications, announced the appointment of Jim Modak as CFO on December 5. Modak will be responsible for overseeing DWL's corporate financial management, raising capital, and analyzing strategic opportunities. Prior to landing at DWL, Modak served as managing director of Armada Venture Group, an Atlanta-based venture capital investor that he cofounded, and at several private and public enterprise software companies including Tradex Technologies Inc. Brett Keller was promoted to chief marketing officer at Priceline.com on December 4. Moving up from senior vice president of marketing, Keller succeeds Michael McCadden, whom Priceline says will leave the dot-com at the end of the year to consult and do board work. Keller joined Priceline in 1999 as vice president of marketing and has been responsible for the design, navigation, and customer experience on the site's Web-based store, as well as customer segmentation and online marketing, database development and management, and online advertising sales.
