Firstwave Technologies Inc., a Web-based CRM software provider has appointed Debbie Qaqish
vice president of sales and marketing, and Jeff Multz vice president of product sales to help lead its expansion plans.

Qaqish, who held senior management positions with Mentorix Technologies, NIIT (USA) and ExecuTrain, has more than 10 years of experience in CRM, knowledge management, and e-learning applications. Multz, who has 17 years of experience in the CRM industry, joined Firstwave in 2001. Previously, Multz served as vice president of direct sales of Zland.com and founded Emerging Market Technologies Inc., a VAR for stockbroker CRM and analytical applications.

RareMethod has hired three vice presidents for its MethodMail Division. Joining the company are Scott Martin as vice president, Market Development; stefan Eyram as vice president, Business Development, Canada; and Don Samoil as vice president Business Development, Eastern U.S.

Martin joins MethodMail from Critical Mass where he was vice president, Customer Relationship and Alliances. Before that, he was president and CEO of NextClick, a leader in personalization strategies and strategic Internet marketing.

Eyram comes to RareMethod from MetaMail Inc., for which he was an account executive for the email marketing products company. Before that he founded a marketing services firm called Re-Mark Results Marketing Group. He was also Chief Marketing Officer for Yourpaperdoll.com, Manager of Business Development for Optus Corporation, and Director of Marketing and Business Development for Tri-Ad Graphics.

Samoil joins MethodMail from his own professional consulting practice that provided strategy and management expertise to technology startups. Prior to that he was regional manager for Net Perceptions.

Leapfrog Online, a performance-based marketing company, announces the hire of two new managers: Patti Ni and Nissa Rasmussen.

Ni was hired as marketing manager, responsible for advancing media operations for Leapfrog Online's network of media partners. Ni comes to Leapfrom from Giantstep and, previously, Young and Rubicam.

Rasmussen, joins Leapfrog Online as account manager, developing online campaigns for the company's clients. Rasmussen's prior experience includes Playboy.com and FTD.com.

Bob DeCarlo has joined ICP Inc., a solution providers of Information Technology products and services, as vice president of Enterprise Communications Systems. DeCarlo was most recently enterprise sales director at Lucent Technologies/Avaya Communications.

CFM Direct, a multichannel marketing agency, announces two employee promotions in its Creative Services division.

Ken Rochon has been promoted to Creative Director, managing direct response, brand development, and online creative services. Rochon leads art directors, copywriters, and editors in the development of strategic direct marketing and advertising programs. With substantial agency experience, he most recently held the title of Associate Creative Director at CFM Direct.

Jodee Asplund, advances to Director of Quality Assurance and Traffic. Most recently holding the position of Director of Production, she now supervises traffic managers in the agency's new creative, graphic production, and print production areas.
