Partners In Mobile Solutions

Proscape Technologies Inc. is partnering with InfoLogix Inc. to provide mobile and wireless CRM solutions for Proscape's pharmaceutical, consumer packaged goods and financial services applications. The mobile and wireless computing hardware from Bensalem, PA-based InfoLogix coupled with Fort Washington, PA-based Proscape's software enables enhanced portability for sales and marketing professionals, both companies say. "Most customers could not care less about the immediacy that wireless applications bring. It's the portability that they care about. Now, they can take the information directly to the customer," says Timothy Healy, founder and chief executive of Proscape. Healy says there are benefits to offering Proscape's solution on wireless devices such as PocketPCs, but Proscape is focusing on tablet PCs. "We see the tablet PC as a very important product. Most of what we do is very visual and requires a larger format." Portability enables sales people to create meaningful visual presentations to doctors and capture electronic signatures for physician sampling, he says. "By making targeted, electronic sales presentations, salespeople have already doubled and even tripled their exposure time in front of physicians," said David Gulian, president and co-founder of InfoLogix, in a prepared statement. Proscape has already released a pen-centric version of its MSE software for existing pen-based computers that is compatible with Windows XP.
