PeopleSoft has released its newest financial application, PeopleSoft Enterprise Financial Management 8.8. The software includes 225 new features and enhancements across 20 applications, targeting processes from employee expense reporting to credit and collections management. It provides improved support for financial best practices through self-service applications, embedded analytics, and advanced technologies like XBRL, XML, and instant messaging.

Tigerpaw Software has announced a synchronizing feature connecting Tigerpaw Business Suite 9 Enterprise and Microsoft Outlook. The ability to import and export customer contacts, appointments, and tasks between the two programs will enable companies to access key aspects of their Tigerpaw database outside of the office, according to the company.

SmartPath, a provider of marketing resource management software, announced this week its SmartPath MMS 5.0 solution. Available for companies on the IBM WebSphere 5.0 application server platform, it works with existing business processes. SmartPath says the program allows for tighter integration between the planning, budgeting, and execution of marketing initiatives, catering to the on-demand marketing needs of IBM customers worldwide.

GuideMark, a developer of banking and insurance software solutions, has released a new Wholesale Mortgage Broker Relationship System. The software incorporates effective mortgage sales and marketing processes with CRM tactics to close business faster and more effectively. GuideMark says the system provides opportunity for increased net income, higher loan to closing conversion ratios, and improved market share with existing brokers.

CH Consulting, a sales, marketing, and business development firm, has created the ProCard and tracking companion --iQ2, The Intelligent Lead Qualifier. CHC's ProCard allows companies to present their sales material on a CD the size of a business card. The CD can be loaded with multiple choice personal-data questions to gather information on the viewer, as well as track what was done with the CD. This technology aims to resolve the do-not-call predicament, providing additional information only at the client's request.
