Siebel Systems has updated its integration application, releasing its Universal Application Network 2.0 this week. The product boats more than 50 industry specific integration applications for nine verticals including automotive, communications, media, energy, financial services, insurance, healthcare, high technology, and manufacturing. UAN operates using the latest industry standards based on XML and Web services and enables organizations to deploy end-to-end business processes spanning multiple applications, Siebel claims. Informatica and webMethods on Monday announced a new Business Activity Platform, which is designed to aid in a company's integration of both data warehouses and disparate legacy systems. The companies say the product includes the best-of-breed combination of the webMethods Integration Platform with Informatica's PowerCenterRT data integration platform and PowerAnalyzer business intelligence software. Also included is the Business Activity Platform Adapter, which provides complete interoperability between those components. Jeeves Solutions has announced its upgraded version 3.0 of its Jeeves One self-service search solution. The new version, according to the company, includes improved natural language search technology, analytics, and enterprise connectivity. The product's architecture is designed to integrate with existing enterprise systems, including content management, commerce, CRM, and ERP systems, the company says. Epsilon, a relationship marketing company, announced the release of RFA-Plus, a solution that enables nonprofit organizations to more precisely prioritize direct marketing opportunities based on each donor's full relationship with the organization. The company says RFA-Plus takes into consideration more than 100 aspects of a donor's complete relationship with an organization to provide a broader, more stable foundation on which to make informed marketing decisions. Lightbridge announced this week the introduction of Lightbridge CreditChek, an outsourced credit risk assessment solution for online commerce. CreditChek is part of a suite of solutions that manage risk through credit analysis, fraud screening, and identity cross-checking. The product allows users to collect a variety of credit information on a potential customer within seconds by drawing credit history from several sources automatically, Lightbridge says.
Systalex has just launched its eReportsPortal, a Web-based portal designed to allow all members of an organization to access company data anywhere via the Internet. The company says the product cuts down on paper usage, physical document storage space, and can aid in productivity, since important documents can be more easily accessed and printed. ScreenTime Media has released a new product called SWF Desktop, which makes it possible to quickly create branded computer wallpaper which can be used to deliver new product announcements, promotions and other information directly to users' desktop screens on a regular basis. The company claims the wallpaper's presence on the desktop allows marketers to deliver multiple impressions every day. End users can download the wallpaper from a marketer's Web site and use it to personalize their PCs, while marketers can continually and unobtrusively refresh the content, according to ScreenTime.
