Parature Appoints former Salesforce.com Senior Sales Executive Mike Minelli to Chief Revenue Officer

Parature, a cloud-based customer service software, announced today the appointment of Mike Minelli as chief revenue officer and executive vice president. Minelli has 20 years of mid-market software experience and more than 10 years experience within cloud computing and software-as-a-service (SaaS) delivery models. Minelli will lead all sales, service, and support operations for the company.

“Mike’s significant leadership experience with successful cloud companies will enable us to accelerate Parature’s success at revolutionizing the way companies engage and help their customers,” said Tim Davenport, CEO of Parature, in a statement. “Mike has an impressive record of success in global sales and operations leadership, and is experienced in building and managing highly productive sales, service and support teams.”

Duke Chung, founder and chief strategy officer at Parature, commented in a statement that, “Mike joins Parature at the perfect time. He shares our vision of how customer service solutions will dramatically change to provide answers anywhere customers spend time – Web sites, mobile devices, or social media platforms.”

Minelli served as a senior sales executive at Salesforce.com and also held executive sales positions at Covisint, Everdream (acquired by Dell), Opsware (formerly Loudcloud, and later acquired by Hewlett Packard), Epiphany, Netscape, and Lotus Development.
