Emailvision Acquires Social Marketing Management Firm ObjectiveMarketer

Emailvision,a provider of software as a service (SaaS) for email marketing, has acquired ObjectiveMarketer, a provider of social media marketing. This acquisition will enable online marketers to efficiently plan, automate, execute, and measure social marketing campaigns.

Emailvision has made this acquisition because email marketers need the capability to seamlessly integrate social media into their everyday campaigns and measure return on investment.

“The acquisition of ObjectiveMarketer is an incredibly exciting step in the evolution of both Emailvision and online retention marketing," said Nick Heys, CEO of Emailvision. "Social media has rapidly evolved from becoming a personal habit to a business-critical form of communication and revenue generation for brands. Online marketers need to manage marketing programs across all of the major social media channels. It’s also evident that many email marketers are increasingly required to be community managers; they need the tools that can rapidly help them to adapt to this new role. Working together, Emailvision and ObjectiveMarketer will provide an industry first for these professionals by giving them solutions that automate campaign management and provide measurable results across every major online marketing channel.”

ObjectiveMarketer software is used by companies like Cisco WebEx, Answers.com, BMW Motorrad, and MINI Colombia. Its social capabilities will compliment Emailvision’s flagship product, Campaign Commander, which is used by thousands of online marketing managers around the world to manage their email and mobile campaigns.

“We’re delighted to become a part of the Emailvision family and are very much looking forward to maintaining the high levels of innovation we have established at ObjectiveMarketer," said Amita Paul, founder and CEO of ObjectiveMarketer. "We feel our product compliments Emailvision’s Campaign Commander perfectly and that we will now be able to significantly accelerate and scale the leading technology and support we provide to both existing and potential clients.”
