CUSTOMER WINS Edocs, a provider of customer self-service and e-billing software solutions, announced that Sweden's
Tele2, an alternative telecom carrier, has selected the edocs Application Suite for Telecommunications. The addition will enable Tele2 to conduct e-billing, analytics, and online account management for its business and consumer customers throughout Europe. IBM and CRM leader Siebel Systems have announced that UMB Financial Corporation, a multibank holding company, has selected Siebel Finance for its front-office CRM initiative. IBM Business Consulting Services is leading the implementation. The solution will be based on IBM WepShpere Internet software and will run on IBM eServer pSeries. NEW PRODUCTS Prophet21 has announced the availability of Trading Partner Connect 10.0. The program is designed for the supply chain business, to expedite sourcing, expand user firms' geographic reach, and streamline transactions. Version 10.0 will allow distributors to exchange data directly from their own Prophet 21 solutions. NEWS Marketing company Harte-Hanks has acquired Postfuture, an email service provider. Harte-Hanks plans to integrate Postfuture's email marketing technology and services into its own B2B marketing offerings. The terms were not disclosed, but the acquisition is effective immediately.
