CRM Idol 2012 Announces Finalists

The second CRM Idol competition, founded by CRM analyst and influencer Paul Greenberg, is going into its final round of identifying the top new businesses in the CRM industry. Four companies from the Americas and three from EMEA, Asia, Australia were selected by the judging panel after six months of evaluations focusing on the products, executive teams, and deeper business processes.

The 2012 CRM Idol finalists are the following:

Americas:

Awareness

Compendium

Crowdtap

VirtuOz

Europe, Asia, Australia:

Artesian Solutions

Self Service Company

Workbooks.com

"Our judging panel has greatly enjoyed meeting and reviewing all of the companies that submitted this year. Now we're down to the final stretch and we can't wait to see what the rest of the CRM community thinks," Greenberg said in a statement. "Ultimately it's up to the end users and a much larger judging panel to decide the winner. That's why this portion of the competition is so critical."

Each finalist will now create a five-minute video about its company and product. From November 16 to November 30, the videos will be exposed to two kinds of voting: a popular vote and extended judges vote. When the voting closes on November 30, there will be a five-day period for tallying the votes. The winners of the 2012 CRM Idol competition will be announced on December 5.
