Badgeville Taps Cloud Leader Ken Comee as CEO

Gamification platform provider Badgeville has appointed Ken Comee as its new CEO. Founding CEO Kris Dugganwill take on the role of chief strategy officer and continue serving on the company's board of directors.

"Gamification is not a fad. It is a technology that is fundamentally redefining the way users interact with Web sites and applications every day," Comee said in a statement. "As I look ahead, it is clear to me that user engagement is becoming the vital factor for the success of all cloud and Web-based technologies. I came to Badgeville to accelerate its rapid growth, empowering the world's largest companies to increase customer loyalty and employee productivity."

Comee previously served as CEO of Cast Iron Systems, a cloud integration services provider acquired by IBM, and as CEO of PowerReviews, a provider of social software for ratings and reviews acquired by Bazaarvoice.
