CUSTOMER WINS FirstLogic has announced that
Dendrite International has purchased the firm's data quality solutions to provide customer information management for its pharmaceutical and life sciences clients. Dendrite is using the FirstLogic Information Quality Suite as a part of its service offerings to pharmaceutical customers to validate, cleanse, and household data about the end-user physicians who prescribe medications as a part of their practice. Pegasystems will be delivering its PegaRULES Process Commander BPM platform to Rabobank Nederland, the largest financial service provider in the Dutch market. Robobank will use the system to implement projects across Trade Services, including online management of letters of credit and direct collections. In addition, the system will be used in payment processing for aggregation, validation, and intelligent routing into the group's general ledger. Bridgewell, a London-based investment bank and securities firm, has selected InterAction as the firm's CRM solution. Previously the firm was using a bespoke database to manage its list and communication needs. IN THE NEWS MySQL and Business Objects have entered into a business and technology partnership covering MySQL's open source database and Business Objects' XI, a new version of the company's business intelligence platform. Under the agreement, Business Objects will embed MySQL database technology into Business Objects XI for use on the Linux and UNIX platforms. In addition, both companies also will join each other's alliance and partner programs. ON THE MOVE Betty Manning has been named director of client services at Proposal Software. Manning joins the company after 11 years of proposal management experience with PacifiCare Health Systems. NEW PRODUCTS Deltek has released Deltek Vision 3.0, a Web-based ERP solution designed for professional services firms. Vision 3 provides upgrades and enhancements to increase workflow, including Deltek's new Microsoft .NET-based VisionXtend platform. This will enable real-time, connections via Web services and XML across multiple platforms and applications to allow professional services firms to integrate and streamline key business processes, according to the company. Zultys Technologies has released MX30. The product integrates voice, data, video, and fax to provide the functions of an IP PBX, firewall, NAT, and VPN. The system provides users with features that include real-time presence, chat, instant messaging, and advanced call handling, each of which is available through a single user interface called GUI. GUI runs under Windows, Mac OS/X, and Linux. TenDigits Software has launched MobileAccess for Microsoft CRM. MobileAccess gives BlackBerry users access to MSCRM data, which automatically stores the information. MobileAccess will provide access to contact, account, opportunities, activities, and notes. Changes made remotely from the field and from the office are automatically reflected on the office server and to the BlackBerry device.
