XL Marketing Acquires Intela

XL Marketing, a lprovider of big data-driven marketing and CRM, has acquired the assets of Intela, an international data and email services company.

XL Marketing will merge Intela's data and customer acquisition businesses with Virtuoso Advertising, XL Marketing's U.K. subsidiary. The combined entity, to be called XL Marketing Europe (XLME), will be based in London.

In addition, Intela's email business, based in Boulder, Colo., will merge into XLM's Email Services division, anchored by ZetaMail.

"Acquiring Intela's assets enhances our portfolio of services, strengthens our analytics capabilities, expands our geographic footprint, and accelerates our evolution into a world-class big data company."
