Tealium Delivers Deep Integration with Oracle Commerce

Tag management platform vendor Tealium has reached one of the highest levels of integration of its Tealium iQ tag management system with Oracle Commerce. Already a gold-level member of Oracle's PartnerNetwork, Tealium's Oracle Validated Integration promises to boost marketing agility for users by simplifying the process of incorporating and deploying new solutions in the marketing ecosystem. With much less coding and IT involvement required than for marketers without a tag management solution, Tealium gives marketers more control over new platform implementations and provides a more standardized view of data from separate marketing solutions.

Now that the integration has been validated, Oracle Commerce customers can also take advantage of a more holistic, centralized approach to not only manage the different tools and applications that they rely on to collect and analyze data, but also to keep track of automation technology used to trigger and deliver campaigns, such as email marketing messages.

"Our ecosystem of partners is one of the critical aspects of our business. Through integrations with leading platforms like Oracle Commerce, we are enabling a new community of customers to leverage our foundational tag management system, more effectively engage with their customers, and ultimately drive more online revenue," Tracy Hansen, chief marketing officer at Tealium, says.

"In today's online world, it's imperative that businesses have the right technologies in place that allow them to innovate quickly and immediately respond to shifting demands and priorities. This integration can enable the agility and flexibility necessary for online retailers to deliver the relevant, real-time customer experiences that drive revenue," Mike Anderson, chief technology officer at Tealium, added in a statement.

Oracle Commerce customers will also be able to leverage Tealium's functionality to create more cross-channel experiences, thanks to more than 750 digital marketing vendor tags that Tealium already has in stock. Marketers that use Oracle Commerce can choose from a vast collection of testing, personalization, and automation platforms and solutions that are supported by Tealium and deploy the technology they require based on their individual marketing needs. Meanwhile, Tealium's tools will take care of all the connectivity behind the scenes.

Obtaining Oracle Validated Integration is not a small feat and requires that partners meet a "stringent set of requirements that are based on the needs and priorities of the customers," according to the company.

"Achieving Oracle Validated Integration gives our customers confidence that the integration between Tealium and Oracle Commerce is functionally sound and performs as tested," Kevin O'Brien, senior director of independent software vendors and SaaS strategy at Oracle, said in a company statement. "For solutions deployed on-premise[s], in the cloud, or both, Oracle Validated Integration applies a rigorous technical review and test process that helps to reduce deployment risk and improves the user experience of the partner's integrated offering," he added.
