Sword Ciboodle Names New CEO for the Americas

Sword Ciboodle, a global provider of customer engagement solutions, has named Richard DeFrancisco, a senior executive with a track-record of achieving exponential market, revenue and channel growth -- as its new CEO of the Americas. DeFrancisco, whose experience includes management roles with Oracle and PricewaterhouseCoopers, will manage the company's growth in the region.

DeFrancisco's tenure comes at a time when Sword Ciboodle's growth in the Americas is keeping pace with its activities in Europe, where the company is among the most profitable in the region. DeFrancisco will use his role to attract and grow the customer base among companies that will benefit from the sophisticated and flexible platform that Sword Ciboodle provides.

"To join Sword Ciboodle at a time of unprecedented growth and market response is an exciting proposition, and one that I look forward to eagerly," DeFrancisco said in a statement. "Our ability to achieve market leadership in the region is tied directly to our customers' successes. We will draw on our global presence and the cross-industry platform success to provide this marketplace with a next-generation customer experience."

Prior to joining Sword Ciboodle, DeFrancisco was the vice president of worldwide sales for e-Discovery software provider StoredIQ, where he achieved record revenue growth while maintaining high customer service. His other experience includes executive appointments at Wirecache, Coast Associates, and Evolve Software.
