Scribe Syncs Data via Scribe Online

Scribe, a global provider of cloud and on-premise data integration solutions, has launched Scribe Online Synchronization Services for its cloud integration platform, creating a more robust environment to synchronize customer data with CRM and enterprise systems.

"It has a really simple wizard-style interface," explains Lou Guercia, president and chief executive officer of Manchester, N.H.-based Scribe Software. "If you say, 'I want to connect certain fields of data between my Salesforce.com, my CRM environment, and my financial system,' it says, 'Okay, here are all the entities and all the different fields of data you can potentially map with one another.'"

The synchronization service is the second service offering to be introduced under the Scribe Online platform, which Guercia says, "definitely benefits IT people because it allows them to move data around easily [but also] allows [enterprises, implementation partners, and independent software vendors] to build much tighter relationships between application data."

Scribe Online was designed with affordability and rapid deployment in mind. Its agent works almost as a go-between between a company's CRM and marketing systems and their financial systems, taking data in either environment and integrating it between business applications.

Hari Prahbu, general manager of Klient Informatics Ltd., a Scribe customer, said in a statement, that by "using Scribe Online SYS to expedite integration and sustain synchronization of business data between critical business systems, we can boost the adoption rate of cloud applications such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 to accelerate customers' productivity and results."

Food packaging company Sabert Corp. worked with Microsoft CRM consulting firm Customer Effective to deploy Scribe's heritage data integration product, Scribe Insight, as a means to connect its Microsoft CRM and SAP systems.; Customer Effective was able to implement 35 interfaces between the two systems.

"We built [the synchronization service] for the partner, because we see this as an ongoing thing," Guercia says. A customer may wish to synchronize its financial system, its CRM system, a program like Marketo or even a help-desk system. "We built it in such a way that your implementation partner can actually reuse what they've done in terms of maps they've built."
